Each day of Faith in 3D will be highlighted by a large group worship service. Each sponsoring denomination will take the lead in designing and leading one of these services and will feature a denominational speaker to bring the day’s message with energy, creativity and delivered with youth in mind.

Worship at Faith in 3D reflects the three “D” effect of Christian Community! When God’s people gather together they DARE to do something new, they DISCOVER something deep, and they DREAM of things that they can make real!
Dare to try something new as you find yourself gathered with 3,000 other people! Worship in a new way – be open to worship services that encourage interaction, creativity, new directions and perhaps, DARING places to encounter God and God’s people!
Discover something new about another culture, another denomination, a younger youth, an older youth, a person from a different city, church AND country! At Faith in 3D you will participate in celebrations and services that are designed to connect you to the world, to Jesus Christ and to other youth.
Dream about a church, a world, a way of living and following Christ that brings YOUR voice, your presence and your ideas to the table … literally! Join the Faith in 3D family as we celebrate communion, sing together, dance, play, pray and listen. In the midst of the magic of Disney you might find yourself living out something that perhaps only imagined before!
Some of the highlights of Faith in 3D include:
- Lively music and an opportunity to sing it like you really WANT to sing it!
- Colorful visuals and presentations – designed to reflect the fun of Disney®, the spirit of youth, and the transforming work of God!
- Biblical connections to real situations and young people’s questions!
- Worship planned and lead by three different denominations – three different styles and contexts, one common goal, to call this community together so that we might worship God and bring hope and healing to the world.
You won’t want to miss any of the services offered at Faith in 3D! Evaluations from the 2006 event clearly demonstrate that worship was a highlight for the participants. Worship is the event activity in which participants just might begin to see this daring, discovering and dreaming community begin to take shape!
The Faith in 3D Band
The Faith in 3D band is led by Beth Watson, editor and lead vocalist for the music resource “New Song: Music for Youth Ministry.” The band also includes: Critter “Chris” Jensen (Bass), Robert Alexander (Vocals & Acoustic Guitar), Chip Kidd (Drums), and Corey Nelson (Keyboard & Percussion).
The Faith in 3D band most recently played at the Presbyterian Youth Triennium 2007. The band plays an amazing blend of contemporary Christian, praise, folk, rock, contemplative and traditional… with a kick!
